KDWS (Karen Daly's Web Studio) provides IT Education, Project Management and Web Development services to individuals, business and community groups.
Services include custom web design, content management systems (CMS), corporate business portals, domain registration, hosting, Business System Training, Course content development and eLearning solutions. KDWS educates clients to maintain and update projects independently, thereby reducing costs and production time to individuals, business and community groups.
Karen Daly has in excess of 20 years practical experience in a variety of IT related positions in Australia. Initially successfully completing a Word Processing Teaching Diploma from the Pitman Institute in London, Karen pursued a career as an IT educator in Brisbane, Queensland.
IT projects included extensive learning programme design and implementation for professional firms and later as part of the Labour Government initiative, design and facilitation of programmes designed to assist unemployed persons re-enter the workplace.
Karen has held positions with a leading Australian Law Firm as a Business Systems Trainer and a US Energy Company as a Systems Analyst and Project Manager.
Karen has provided Web Design training and implementation for various local business and community groups throughout the Logan City and Beaudesert Shire.
During 2009 Karen successfully undertook a 3 month Teaching Project with Hills International College, demonstrating her diversity by supporting a group of 14 Japanese High School students to further enhance their English speaking skills.
Karen is currently enrolled at the University of Southern Queensland where she is completing her final year in a Bachelor of Information Technology majoring in Information Management and Net Technologies.
Karen is a student member at the Australian Computer Society and a registered Microsoft Partner. |
